Kéyoh: Turning Challenges into Oportunities

Kéyoh, your story is so inspiring. Can you tell us how it all began?

Thank you! Well, my journey has been anything but ordinary. I’m Kéyoh, founder of Glam Mom Magazine, an international platform for moms and women. But before that chapter of my life, I started as a singer. In 2005, I launched my music career, and over the next decade, I had the privilege of creating international hits and traveling the world. Those years were magical I met incredible people, created unforgettable memories, and truly lived my dream.

It sounds incredible, but I imagine it wasn’t always easy.

Not at all. My success wasn’t handed to me. I knew nothing about show business or the music industry when I started. I spent years hustling recording in all kinds of studios, from basements to rooftops, with no guarantees. It wasn’t always glamorous, but I kept going. You see, I adopted this mindset early in life. I left Armenia at 11 during a very difficult time for my family. My parents sacrificed so much, and I’d always tell myself, “They didn’t leave their home, their family, and friends for me to just give up.”

That’s such a powerful motivator. Did anyone else influence your journey?

My father played a big role. He always told me, “Be the best at what you do, or don’t do it at all.” That stayed with me. And of course, my husband he was my rock. We met during my music career, and his love and support helped me grow so much. We married in 2016, traveled the world, and a few years later, our daughter was born. Becoming a mother gave me a new kind of strength and drive.

How did motherhood influence your career?

It changed everything. When my daughter was born, I was at a high point in my music career I had a #1 hit in Belgium, launched a perfume line, and was working on a new album. But then 2020 came, and with it, the pandemic. Like so many in the entertainment industry, I was hit hard. No performances, no stage, no audience. It was heartbreaking. But as a mother, I couldn’t afford to stop. I had responsibilities. That’s when I turned to online platforms and social media. And that’s how Glam Mom Magazine was born. I wanted to create a space for moms, a community where women could share their stories, find support, and inspire each other.

Did you expect the magazine to become so successful?

Honestly, no. I never imagined it would grow into one of the most-read magazines in the Benelux. But I think it’s because it was built from a place of genuine passion and connection. From day one, my sister Anna believed in me. She said, “You can do this, and we’ll build an empire together.” Her unwavering support, along with my husband’s, gave me the confidence to move forward.

Five years later, the magazine is thriving. How do you feel now?

I feel incredibly proud. People like my photographer, Ron, have been with me from the start, helping create those stunning covers and supporting me through challenges. It’s been a team effort, and I’m so grateful.

What’s next for you?

For now, I’m focused on healing from a vocal injury, so performing is on pause. But I still write songs for other artists music will always be my first love. Beyond that, I’m working on something completely new. It’s out of my comfort zone, but I’m passionate and excited about it. I can’t share too much yet, but I promise it’ll be worth the wait.

We can’t wait to see what’s next, Kéyoh. Thank you for sharing your journey!

Thank you! It’s been a pleasure.
